We take care of running and maintaining your website so you can focus on your business. You do not need to know everything involved in keeping a website current, secure, and working properly. You can be as involved as you want, and we will handle the rest.
Website maintenance keeps your website secure, updated, backed up, and performing at its best. It helps protect customer data, reduce downtime, prevent security problems, and support search engine performance. Basic maintenance is included for the first year with websites we build.
We provide free basic maintenance for the first year for any website we build. Depending on the website, maintenance can range from $60 to $240 per year afterward. Some non-basic websites may cost more.
The first year of domain registration is included. The current price for domain renewal alone is $13.50 for a .com domain.
We will set up the email accounts you need. They can be forwarded to your current email address, or they can be used with any email reader.
Our hosting setup helps keep your website available and responsive. Our accounts are under our agreement with Hostwinds, and using the Dallas site gives our local customers above-average speeds with dependable customer service.
Basic Website Maintenance
- In the unlikely event your website, or a portion of it, stops working, we will fix it as soon as possible. Our goal is to respond within minutes or hours after we are notified.
- Backups - You get automatic nightly backups. If we need to restore specific files, folders, or the whole website, we can.
- Keeping your website's security current.
- Maintaining the website with updates as needed.
- Email address updates - We try to update email addresses as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.
- Monthly reviews include:
- Double-checking all as-needed items.
- Search engine optimization updates to help keep the website search optimized.
- Checking your form functionality.
- Checking that all links and buttons still work and nothing is out of place.
- W3C updates - Updates related to open web standards, including HTML and CSS, to help keep the website compatible across devices.
- Quarterly reviews include:
- Review page speed
- Review website analytics.
- Review search engine rankings
- Review security logs
- Review outdated content
Premium Website Maintenance
We handle every aspect of maintaining your website so you can focus on running your business. You pay one bill, and we take care of the rest. We send you a monthly report to let you know how your website is working, what is coming up, and what we have done.
